A portion of the Institute's Annual Pro Bono Seminar is open to public interest registrants. The Seminar's Joint Session brings public interest, legal services, and pro bono leaders together with representatives of major law firms and corporate legal departments who are keenly interested in playing a role in their work. The program not only offers a unique forum for public interest advocates, law firm representatives, and in-house corporate counsel to discuss issues of common concern, it also provides an unparalleled networking opportunity - a chance to meet firm and corporate leaders who could become vitally important sources of support to your organization. Seminar public interest attendees receive a packet of materials, including the Institute's annual "Reinventing Pro Bono Newsletter." Due to space constraints, public interest slots are limited and are available on an invitation-only basis. If you have not previously been invited to attend the Annual Seminar, but wish to register for the upcoming Seminar, please click here to indicate your interest and to provide information on your program's capacity to use large law firm and corporate pro bono resources.

Public interest registrants at the Seminar may also apply to host, at no cost, a topical discussion table at the Seminar's Marketplace luncheon. These tables provide a highly effective means of establishing new contacts with law firms or legal departments interested in contributing their resources, most notably human capital, on a variety of legal issues. Public interest table hosts are asked to prepare and lead discussions at their tables by providing information on emerging legal issues and strategies, as well as opportunities for pro bono participation, in their area of expertise.
